Park Ophthalmology was founded in 1984 by Beth R. Friedland, M.D., who built a successful medical and surgical practice based on hard work, integrity, and personalized service.    In a few years Park Ophthalmology expanded to two offices in the Raleigh Durham area to better serve a wider geographic area.  Dr. Friedland was recently recognized by Triangle Business Leader as a leading businesswoman in our area.  She is also active in research & teaching at UNC Chapel Hill and in the ophthalmology industry.

Now, with careful thought & consideration, Park Ophthalmology  has expanded by adding a new physician,  Melissa Daluvoy, M.D., who is also a board certified  opthalmologist, cornea fellowship trained.  Dr. Daluvoy recently moved with her family to the Durham area  from Washington, DC, and is excited to help grow the practice and to continue the personalized service that Park Ophthalmology is known for.
